COURSE: IMMUNOBIOLOGY IN THE ERA OF IMMUNOTHERAPY
The course is primarily intended to provide students (Undergraduate, Master’s, PhD) and young scientists (post-doctoral fellows/professionals) a conceptual basis of selected themes of Immunology, which will be directed towards the topic immunotherapy. The course will be held at the congress venue as pre-meeting event organized in lectures and practical activities (project elaboration on immunotherapy studies, by applying innovative approaches, such as intravital microscopy, optogenetics). The course will have a restricted number of participants who will be selected by the Organizing Committee from the applications.
PARTICIPANTS AND SCHEDULE
The course will be held at the meeting venue on September 28 (morning and afternoon) and 29 (morning) organized in free lectures for up to 50 trainees.
1- The course Trainees can be students (Undergraduate, Master, Ph.D.) post-doctoral fellows or professionals acting in the field of biomedical research.
2- Trainees must be registered at the SBI Annual Congress and attendance at the meeting is mandatory.
3- Trainees must submit an application to the SBI Annual Congress, which will be evaluated for attendance to the course.
Please submit course application by logging into your account at Registration system of SBI Annual Congress, choosing YES at “Want to apply to IMMUNOBIOLOGY IN THE ERA OF IMMUNOTHERAPY Course?”. All documents should be uploaded as a single combined PDF file.
Please include the following in the application package:
1- A cover letter clearly designating “IMMUNOBIOLOGY IN THE ERA OF IMMUNOTHERAPY” Course and including the following information:
– Full name (first, middle initial, last);
– Title and affiliation;
2- Letter of intent to attend the IMMUNOBIOLOGY IN THE ERA OF IMMUNOTHERAPY
3- Applicant’s short CV (up to 3 pages).
Application Deadline: August 16th
1- Attendees will be selected from the applications by the Organizing Committee of the Pre- Congress Course.
2- SBI is not responsible for costs of registration, travel and lodging for SBI Annual Congress.
3- SBI reserves the right to change the content of this regulation, including dates without prior notice.
4- Immunology course trainees authorize the SBI to use the image in any media without burdening costs on image rights and/or copyright.
