Among our speakers, we will have worldwide leaders of the field as well as distinctive young scientists. Together with the enthusiastic group of undergraduate and graduate students and post-docs coming from every corner of the globe, the meeting will provide a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, in a fresh, relaxed and yet scientifically dense atmosphere.
The city of Campos do Jordão, well-known for its European charm and style and fine gastronomy, is the highest city in Brazil, situated at 1,628 meters (5,341 ft) above sea level. It is surrounded by the Mantiqueira Mountains, which provide unique panorama views and opportunities for hiking, mountain climbing, bird watching and horseback riding. In addition, Campos do Jordão offers a great integration amongst the Convention Center, hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions. Finally, The easy access to the city from the biggest airport in the country, The Guarulhos Airport in São Paulo, as well as from the highways that link São Paulo to the States of Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro will make your trip to Campos do Jordão very pleasant.
The Campos do Jordão Convention Center is considered one of the most modern, charming and well-structured convention centers in Brazil. Its two-floor, 7,200 m2 multifunctional structure was designed by the famous architect João Armentano and filled with last generation technology.
